Most Dads are good at playing chase, but no one can catch Josh Herrin.
Meet Josh: BinkyBro partner, father to four-year-old Griff and new twin girls, and the current best MotoAmerica racer on tour.

If you’re not familiar with MotoAmerica, here’s a crash course: a couple dozen riders on souped up motorcycles rip around the track at up to 180 mph. It’s a thrilling, high-speed adrenaline rush for riders and their fans, and (no offense to Josh) something most parents probably hope their kid never wants to try.

But like anyone at the top of their game, this sport isn’t just about high speeds and adrenaline. It’s about mad skills that had time to grow because a passion was discovered at a young age.
Josh grew up in California and Georgia, and basically was born on a bike. At four years old he was already riding dirt bikes, and by five he was running drills in local parking lots.
For Josh, riding’s always been a family thing. His Dad was an amateur rider in California, and shared his hobby with Josh as soon as he could. Josh has shared that his Dad’s support made all the difference in his career. His Dad sacrificed tons of time to travel to Josh’s races and cheer for him from the stands. And it’s no doubt in our mind that shared love between father and son is what made Josh one of the youngest riders to win big.
When Josh was 14, his family made a big move from California to Georgia, where his dad built a racetrack on their family’s property. Back then the track was Josh’s personal training ground, but these days the Herrin Compound has expended into a major training hub for other young racers who are hungry to be the next Josh.

At age 16, Josh went pro, and we have to hand it to his parents. The thought of handing our kids a set of keys at age 16 seems wild enough, let alone when the keys power a machine that’s built to go over 100 mph. But again, for all its adrenaline, this sport is just as much about precision and technique. Thanks to the Team Herrin’s support and mutual trust, Josh’s career has only been a screaming success.

At age 19, Josh became the second-youngest racer to ever win the iconic Daytona 200. He’s now won the race four times, including the last three years in a row. He’s getting started, but this guy is already a legend.
If you’ve been around BinkyBro, you know we’re big believers that parents’ support can make a kid unstoppable, whether it’s just in their confidence and sense of self, or dominating at a professional sport. That’s why we’ve loved watching Josh’s meteoric rise, and are stoked to partner with a guy who’s as good off the racetrack as he is on it.
Josh represents what BinkyBro is about – living life to the fullest with epic hobbies that end up leading to a career that can take care of the fam. We’re stoked to have our name attached to his in any way, let alone when it’s in an epic slow-mo like this. Putting BinkyBro on a Ducati was not on our bingo card when we started this company, but doesn’t it just feel right?
We’ve always loved incorporating elements of racing gear and culture into our swag, and might have perfected the formula with our new Josh Herrin snapback. Epically named just “Herrin,” it’s got a classic red + white colorway and of course reps Josh’s number on front. It’s fresh in design alone, but even better if you’re in the fan club.
If you want to get to know this BinkyBro family better, Josh and his wife Rachel are a great hang online. As fellow twin parents, we’ve been sending all the good vibes we can their way while they enter what’s probably going to be the wildest ride of their lives yet. Rachel often shares BTS photos of race wife life and absolutely won the “emergency contact” trend, but most of what she posts is sweet moments with the family together. It’s a reminder that at the end of the day we all just want to live a good life with the people we love – yep, even if the guy we love is the fastest dad on land.
