We did it, Moms! We made it through another summer. If you’re anything like us, it was the best of times and the worst of times.
We’ve loved having no schedule and more time with our families, and also are so looking forward to more structure and less time with our kids smacking each other (boy mom problems). The late summer sunsets have made for some of the longest days of our lives, and yet somehow looking back, it feels like the season flew. Summer is full of ups and downs, but it’s when some of our best family memories are always made.
While we’re sad to see Summer go, we’ve now arrived at the second-most wonderful time of the year: Back to School.
There is something so magical about the transition from summer to fall. The fresh haircuts and stiff backpacks. The back to school nights and school supply lists. Sure, figuring out carpools and soccer schedules can get stressful, but at this point we’ll take it over hearing “Mom, I’m bored!” for the tenth time in a day.
Unsurprisingly, our favorite part of the late summer months has always been shopping for back-to-school ‘fits. Check out some of our 2025 faves to get your little guy ready to hit the halls.
Graphic Tees with a Vibe
At BinkyBro, we pride ourselves on making clothes that give kids a vibe while staying effortless. Our stuff is more unique than big box kids’ clothes, more elevated than yet another superhero tee, all while staying youthful and, most importantly, super comfy.
This year we’re loving our Be The Culture tee. A clean white base with pops of red and blue, it’s the perfect mix of style and play. Picture Day Picks
There are two trains of thought when it comes to school pictures. 1) capture the kid exactly as they are – bedhead, fake smile, chaotic outfit they picked on their own, or 2) dress them in something classy and do their hair for the first time in months to make mom’s heart swell. We’re super cool with either option, but for the moms who lean toward number two and want a slightly cleaner look – these tees are for you.
Our Classic Tees capsule is a great way to get a clean look without it feeling generic. These short sleeved pocket tees come in Blue, Beige, Brown, Charcoal, and White. We love them on their own or as a base layer under a hoodie when the weather cools down.
If you want to keep your guy looking nice but add a little more color, we have several striped tees that fit the bill. Our current fave is the Rodgers Stripes, followed closely by Jordy Stripes. But we’ve never met a stripe we didn’t like.
Pair it with Waco Shorts
After a long summer, our kids are in the habit of reaching for unstructured options like basketball or soccer shorts. But if you’re looking to maintain comfort while dialing up style, our Waco Shorts are the perfect answer.
These fit like denim, but have enough stretch in the fabric (plus an adjustable waist) to make them really comfortable to wear. They’re a tight fitted short designed to land well above the knee. As for details, they’ve got a frayed hem and a BinkyBro logo over an artificial leather patch on the back hip. They go with anything but are the furthest thing from boring.
Since it’s still hot almost everywhere in August, the Waco Short is a great option for that summer-to-fall transition, and even pair well with a long sleeve tee once temperatures start to dip.
Take Skelly to School
Maybe the most exciting part of Fall 2025 is our full-size backpacks. Our Toddler backpack is all grown up in this new design – from the size, to the colors, to the updated BNKY logos.
These come in four classic colorways: black/charcoal, cream/brown, navy/green, and blue/tan. Each has two buckles across the front to keep everything in place (or to keep your skateboard secured if Mom says you can take it to school).
Our personal favorite detail is the Skelly stitched onto the back. It’s a little thing that adds a whole lot of personality, because after all, that’s what BinkyBro is about. We’re so stoked to have evolved our backpack collection and hope you love where we took them.
HAGSY (Have A Good School Year)
As school starts, the best advice we have is to keep the surf/skate dream alive. Just because school is in session doesn’t mean you can’t hit the waves or the skate park. For our part, we’ll keep bringing the ‘fits that remind you what it’s all about – spending time together doing the stuff you love.
